This is an agreement between the “Owners” , Mr & Mrs S Jones, of The Long Barn, the “Cottage”, and the “party leader” who is the person making the booking on behalf of the party renting The Long Barn. References to “I” below means the “party leader” and “we” means all the members of the party.

I/we agree to the following rules and guidelines associated with the rental of The Long Barn:

1. No pets are allowed.

2. No smoking is allowed within the “cottage”, guests are requested to smoke outside in the gardens or at the front of the “cottage”.

3. Arrival at the property is not before 4 pm on the agreed start date and departure is no later than 10 am on the agreed date of departure.

4. A maximum of 4 people will occupy the “cottage” during the rental.

5. The property must be left in a clean and tidy state on departure.

6. To follow the cottage instructions provided e.g. the use of facilities, to return the key to the key-safe after use.

7. To pay all the costs of any damage, breakages caused during the rental and any excess cleaning required by the “Owners” following departure and to provide a Security Deposit of £50 in advance to the “Owners” for this purpose. The deposit will be refunded, minus any costs incurred, following completion of the rental

8. That I will arrange my own holiday/travel insurance for my party to cover costs of cancellation/curtailment.

9. That I am wholly responsible for supervising the health and safety of my party during the rental and that I understand that extreme care must be taken by all members of the party using the steps and patio at the front of the property.
